Please be advised that the following rules apply when booking a treatment:
* If you have varnish on please remove prior to treatment or mention/add to when booking to allow extra time for removal.
* If you have another techs acrylics/hard gels or gel polish/shellac on, we can't treat you for insurance purposes. We don't know what damage is under them and can't be held accountable. Please only book if your extensions or overlays are off completely.
* Children under 14 cannot have Shellac, Acrylic treatments.
* Children between 14 and 17 must have a parental consent form filled out prior, to have a shellac treatment.
* Children aged 17 can have acrylic with parental consent form filled out prior to the treatment.
* Children under 14 can have a normal nail polish applied with parental consent.
* If you have diabetes please get Dr's approval before having pedicure / manicure.
Apologies but if you have the following ailments you cannot be treated:
* Warts / Verrucas - Contagious/spreadable.
* Athletes Foot - Contagious/spreadable.
* Scabies - Contagious/spreadable.
* Contact dermatitis - Could be irritated.
* Impetigo - is a bacterial infection.
* Allergic reaction to ingredients in products used for treatments.
* Psoriasis - a skin condition that causes red, flaky, crusty patches.
* Paronychia - a soft tissue infection around a fingernail
Maintenance/Infills Policy
Please make sure you have your regular 2-3 week infills/maintenance.
These are important to the health of your nails. If a nail starts lifting you should book an appointment before your infills are due.
If lifting is left for too long water accumulates under the nail, bacteria and yeast can also cause the area to become infected.
This will get worse until the acrylics are removed completely and you may not be able to have anything on your nails for a while afterwards.
Booking/Cancellation Policy
Due to several people not turning up for their appointments, Originails cancellation policy is as follows...
* Party bookings are 50% non-refundable deposit required for each booking placed.
* If you need to cancel or change your appointment at least 48 hours notice is needed.
* 30% fee to cancel within 48 hours, 50% no show fee.
* Any cancelled appointments will forfeit your deposit for that appointment.
* When arranging an appointment please leave us your name and a contact number, this will be used to confirm your appointment and can be used for reminders if requested.
* On a home visit you can be given a reminder card as well as request a text.

This information will be on your consultation card, where a signature will be taken to agree all information is correct and an understanding of the treatment. Each treatment will need a quick check on your health/medical background and a signature to confirm all information given is correct. We will only use this for informing nail treatments and any advice we give as a result of your treatment. The information to be held is:
*Your contact details
*Medical history and other health-related information (which we will take from you at first consultation)
*Treatment details and related notes (which we will take after each consultation)
Originails is committed to ensuring that your personal data is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place appropriate technical, physical and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect from you.
Originails will contact you using the contact preferences you give in relation to:
*Appointment times reminders
*Appointment cancellation availability
*Special offers and promotions (you may unsubscribe from this at any time)
Originails is committed to a policy of protecting the rights and freedoms of individuals with respect to the processing of their personal data. The lawful basis under which we hold and use your information my legitimate interests i.e.my requirement to retain the information in order to provide you with the best possible treatment options and advice.
No personal information will be shared with anyone else and will only be kept by Originails on computerised diary and/or in paper form (other than as required for legal process) without explaining why it is necessary, and getting your explicit consent.
We will keep your information for 7 years, 'claims occurring' insurance: (records to be kept for 7 years after last treatment). Please be assured that Originails is an ethical company and will NOT sell or disclose your details to a third party. Your data will not be transferred outside the EU without your consent.
Your Rights
GDPR gives you the following rights:

*The right to restrict processing of personal data:.
*You have the right to request limits on how your therapist uses your personal information
*The right to data portability: under certain circumstances you can request a copy of personal information held electronically so you can reuse it in other systems.
*The right to object:
*To be able to tell your therapist you don't want them to use certain parts of your information, or only to use it for certain purposes.
*Rights in relation to automated decision-making and profiling.
*The right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office:
*To be able to complain to the ICO if you feel your details are not correct, if they are not being used in a way that you have given permission for, or if they are being stored when they don't have to be.
THERAPIST'S RIGHTS
Please note:
*If you don't agree to your therapist keeping records of information about you and your treatments, or if you don't allow them to use the information in the way they need to for treatments, the therapist may not be able to treat you.
*Your therapist has to keep your records of treatment for a certain period as described above, which may mean that even if you ask them to erase any details about you, they might have to keep these details until after that period has passed.
*Your therapist can move their records between their computers and IT systems, as long as your details are protected from being seen by others without your permission.
